Description

Afghans for Weddings and Anniversaries are always welcome gifts. The Garter Carriage makes them simple to knit. 

The Wedding afghan has a wide center panel with bells and doves and 2 side panels

The Anniversary afghan has flowers and plaid center panel and the side panels have your choice of the years – 10, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 75 and a blank design you and program your own year into it.

Step-by-Step-Instructions

Yarn

Many yarns will work well with the afghans.  Here are a few examples

• Sport 2/7 – tension 8 or 9
• 2 Strands of Kitty – tension 8 or 9
• 1 strand of 3 Ply 3/16 + 1 strand of Cristal – tension 10
• 1 strand of Sport + 1 strand of Kitty – tension 10 -10.2

• 40 ounces

• About 40″ x 56″ depending on the yarn chosen

Options 

Choose between Book only/ Book + Design disk / Design disk only

Design Disks are available in three different formats

• Brother/Knitking 930 Disks: can be used on all machines KH 930 and newer.  Requires the FB100 disk drive.
• Brother/Knitking 940 Disks: can be used on all machines KH 940 and newer.  Requires the FB100 disk drive
• DesignaKnit CD: can be used along with DesignaKnit (.pat, .stp or both) format.  Requires the DesignaKnit software
