We will touch on all modules with small projects for each.
Bring your laptop or share with a friend. You can also come as an observer.

Description
- Level – Beginners & intermediate.
- This is a 2 day workshop. October 4th & 5th, 2023. Wednesday & Thursday.
- A workbook (60+ pages) will be provided for this class with step-by-step instructions, color screen shots and room to take notes.

Bring your laptop and power cord and mouse if you use one. You can also share a laptop with a friend. You can just observe if you are just wanting to see what the possibilities are with this software.. Have your DK 8 or 9 installed if you bring your laptop.
A very large screen for great viewing and limited number of attendees so everyone has a front row seat.
Class size is limited. Lunches are on your own – several options very close by.
We will be working in DK 8 but all things apply to DK 9. DK9 just has more options. There will be a workshop April 17th & 18th, 2024 using only DK 9.
- 1st Day – Stitch Designer, Simple Graphics Conversion, Import your designs into a golf or bowling towel, print designs and built in cable designs.
- 2nd Day – Standard Garment Designer creating a Childs sweater, Customizing the sweater in Original Pattern Drafting, integrate a design into the sweater, Interactive Knitting, creating a new shape for other than garments and showing some of the DK 9 features.
- You will need to know how to make a folder.
Place – Held at the Circus City Inn (Best Western), 2642 S Bus. US-31, Peru, Indiana 46970. 765-473-8800. When calling for room reservations let them know you are coming to the workshop hosted by Knit Knack Shop. You will get a better rate and there is a block of rooms reserved.
Time – 8:30 – 3:00 each day.

Upon receiving your reservation, you will be provided with all the details for rooms, address and times. Also you will be sent some original clip art to work with and instructed to make some folders so we will be able to start class right away. There will be lots of time for questions during the class (questions are encouraged) but if you already have questions please add them to your registrations and we will try to address them in the class.
