0171 Varsity Vests

Description

Vests are so popular and easy to knit. The heather tones of Varsity by Tamm Yarns make a natural combination. Either blending several colors, or using texture, the design will be flattering as well as comfortable. 

Use the stitch gauge as your guide to select other yarns to use with these patterns.

 Includes

• Fairisle Vest   with Zipper Closure.  8 stitches x 9½ rows = 1″.  4 colors are used.  Main color 10 ounces and 2 ounces of each of the other colors.  Tension 7.
• Tuck Stitch Vest.  6¾ stitches x 13C rows = 1″.  The purl side is the right side for this vest.  10-14 ounces.  You will also need 8 – ¾’ buttons.  Tension 7.
• V-Neck Vest in a Fairisle Design with Loops for the Buttonholes.  8 stitches x 10½ rows = 1″.  6-8 ounces of 2 colors.  You will also need 6 – ¾ ” buttons.  Tension 6.
