Description

You now have a Silver Reed SK 860 Electronic Mid-Gauge Knitting Machine. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. The machine is designed to use worsted weight yarns as well as many hand knit yarns. Ply thinner yarns together making a heavier yarn to use on the machine. Chunky yarns can be knitted if using weaving techniques.

This book is not intended to replace your instruction manual for the machine or DesignaKnit. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the manuals. The manual for this machine was written before the Silver Reed machine used DesignaKnit. This book should bridge that gap. This is the book we use for lessons at our shop.

Knitting plain, shaping and manual selection of design is easy on this machine. Use DesignaKnit (DAK) in conjunction with the machine for automatic patterns. To knit in design the computer will be connected to the machine, DAK will be opened and both will be used simultaneously.
